PLEASE READ FIRST - Poor Management

Like many people who have used Summit, in the beginning I too was a satisfied customer as we always found the office staff to be extremely pleasant. After 2 years of committing to this company, I returned my car to the airport location last Thursday ( Sept 19, 2024) When we pulled up we were told to take a ticket as our price had changed and we would no longer receive an invoice from the Summit office as the company was splitting ( this is what we were told) . We were also told that our monthly rate was going from $80.95 to $300.00 a month. We were then told that an email went out 2 months ago making us aware. ( No email sent , confirmand by office) .

The very sad part of this experience was when I reached out to the owner to discuss this situation, it took 6 days for him to respond. When he did respond I asked why we were not informed about this sooner so we could look for other arrangements or discuss it and he said no notice had gone out but they would send a notice next week.

The owner then offered me a spot at his other location where we would have to pay for valet to drop off and pick up the car, $220 round trip plus the storage.

When I asked him why we were given the option to park at the airport for the same rate we were paying off airport with no conversation about this rate ending he said, Have you ever driven by a restaurant and there were no cars in the parking lot, you probably do not want to stop there, but when you drive by a restaurant and the parking lot is full, you will probable stop.

During the conversation I mentioned that I thought that this was a dirty game with no loyalty being offered to the people that helped him. Within 30 minutes of the conversation ending I received an email asking me to find alternative parking solutions at the end of Sept. Really professional considering he knew I would not be home until October 24 and that we had no one to move the vehicle.

Cons: Horrible management

I've been storing my travel trailer at Summit, during the off season, for a number of years. Without exception, Chris and his team have been very accommodating and professional throughout. Have never had a problem or an issue we couldn't resolve in an efficient and amicable fashion. It's been a great experience all around. Thank you.

Chris and his team did a great job. Was storing my vehicle and heading to the airport to beat out the hurricane. The process was so smooth and they were in the middle of a busy day preparing all the vehicles to be safe during the storm. Highly recommended.

This company provided top notch service and storage of my car while I went overseas for 6 months. Personable staff, great rates, and I felt 100% that the vehicle was well looked after. AND they offer transportation to and from the airport! Having my car clean and ready to go when I returned from traveling was a supreme moment! I wouldn’t use anyone else after this experience with Summit.

Excellent service from Summit Storage! We stored our Camper-van here while we flew to Ontario for two weeks. We were able to drop off and pick up with very limited noticed which was very appreciated. It was safe, secure, clean, and video monitored. Also the nicest dog (Denali) was there both times to greet us 🙂 will definitely recommend to others and will be back ourselves again I am sure!

Chris and his business have gone a step beyond for us. We have stored our vehicle and used his airport pickup /drop off service. We have had delay issues (weather) and even a flight that was redirected back to Montreal. Chris was there for us even when our plans didn’t work he would find away to work it out pleasantly.
Chris and Summit Storage are best in class and so personable. Reasonable prices also. We are thankful.

Highly recommend this for all your storage needs. Chris is extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. We stored our camping truck here for 10 months after our cross-Canada road trip. He gave us a ride to the airport and also picked us up at a very reasonable price. When we picked up our truck it was in excellent condition. Highly recommend, and we will be using Chris' services again!

I have stored my vehicle at Summit for the past two winters. The facility has always been clean and well organized and the staff friendly and accommodating. For these reasons I will be trusting my baby to them again this winter. Of course its always a pleasure to be greeted by Denali (the resident mascot) upon arrival at the facility as well.
