My driver was on time and kind, however he was on his phone flipping through Arabic video shorts the whole drive, not being a professional driver... He took a call from what sounded like his wife and just BS'd.
They push for cash so they don't have to claim it, always pay with card or walk away.

I'll try someone else next time I need a cab in this town.

Update -- After reading some of the recent reviews I've called the city to move forward with a complaint against Sun Taxi and their business practices. I'll update the procedure so everyone else with these horror stories can follow the same procedure.

The Red Arrow Fort Mcmurray needs to do something about the situation with aggressive and disrespectful Cab drivers from Sun Taxi.

I am a paying customer, the service that Red Arrow provides is great, but this cab company is a stain on Red arrow.

The parking lot is full of disrespectful and aggressive cab drivers literally fighting (physical contact) for fares in the Red Arrow owned parking lot.

Paying customers can't get anywhere close to the location to load or unload in their own vehicles.

On top of that Sun Taxi drivers will literally rob you. I was quoted anywhere from $100 to $140 for my ride. I've called dispatch for the company and given a quote for $85.

My last ride, for the first time in my 50 years, the driver literally made me talk to his dispatch on his dirty cellphone to confirm he had a fare. If dispatch doesn't even trust their own drivers why should we.

It's disgusting behavior.

These lying sacks quoted me $160 to McKay River and then charged me $220 when I arrived.

Their vehicles are filthy, old and uncomfortable.

I recommend you DO NOT, use this company and I strongly suggest you DO NOT, trust what they say.

I'll never use them again.

The worst and one of the scariest experiences of my life. A lone girl at 2 am just wanting to get home from the airport, tired and a bit hesitant. the driver seemed nice at first, but then she quickly found that he spoke ZERO English, his car was gross and smelt strongly like smoke (at one point a moth attacked me!). Long story short, I had to yell just for him to almost miss every turn and exit. Then he had the audacity to ask if I was ok!!! UUMMM no, I was so angry that he couldn't differentiate between left or right! I have nothing against immigrants, but if your driver can't understand English then at least get them a GPS. And then finally at the end of the drive....my heart beating rapidly his payment device took 15 minutes to boot up just so I could pay 80!! I literally thought about jumping out for my life. He checked his phone the whole drive home and even answered a call. I am an extremely easy-going person and this is the first zero star experience I have ever given in my life, I don't even leave zero star book reviews for goodness sake. Run for your life if you see Sun Taxi at the airport.

Dispatcher is rude. Never got my taxi. Waited there 20 mins. Taking a taxi twice a day. No customer service . Called again to check about the status but he literally yelled at me. Management has to do something with this particular person not happened first time. Really disappointed. United is way better than these people

HORRIBLE - STAY AWAY!! I booked a taxi to airport with 4 hours heads up notice. 5 minutes after they were supposed to arrive, I called to make sure they were on their way. Dispatch said sorry no cabs available... even though I called 4 hours prior and nobody notified me until I called them. You lost my trust for good, never again will I use your taxi company.
