This taxi company used to be my go to but now I’ll never use it again, the driver that picked me and my sister up was incredibly rude. His payment terminal wasn’t working at all and he kept implying that we were at fault for using it wrong, we tried to pay at least 4 times with our cards and nothing worked. I know that we both have money in our account and I kept telling him that, but he didn’t listen. The terminal failed before I could even put my pin in and he blamed it on us. He rudely told us to get out and that we wasted his time, I apologized to him and he said “What do you mean sorry? You wasted my time. Don’t call a taxi if you have no money”. Me and my sister are native as well so this experience felt extremely racist. I had also offered him a $50 dollar bill but he only had $20 dollar change for our $10 dollar ride, I would never want to give a guy like that a $20 dollar tip for ruining our night. Later when I called the company back to report his rude behaviour the operator also had an attitude towards me. They’re all terrible people, steer clear of this racist company and PLEASE choose another.

If there’s an opportunity to give a zero star, I’ll surely give it to this business. If google can also give an opportunity to make my review very visible at the very top, I’d sincerely appreciate. Some times, I complete my journey to work by taxi. Unfortunately, my taxi driver was not available that very day and I called Sun Taxi. I had the worse experience ever. The driver frustrated me and after we finally met each other, I noticed his meter was not on. I was destabilized that morning, and he took advantage of it. He took advantage of all the means to cheat me, knowing that I was relatively new to the city and I had a bad morning. A journey of 4 minutes, I was charged 15 dollars! A journey I take for less than 10 dollars (specifically 7 dollars) when my trusted taxi driver is available. I bargained with the driver and he made it look like he did me a favour by charging me 14.8 dollars! Since I was already almost late for work, I paid anyways but made up my mind to call the company. I called the company and the customer rep that answered the call at first was very slow, rude and so unhelpful. More like the person didn’t even understand his job. After talking for almost 5 minutes, he simply told me he didn’t hear a word I said and hung up! A whole customer rep! I called again, and the person who picked was different and kept on justifying the behaviour of the driver. I’m like these people are one of the most annoying taxi service EVER! First, they just want to rip you off. Second, they want to rip you off the more. Third, they don’t even care about you or your complaints, their major focus is ripping you off. I will never ever advise my worst enemy to use their service. They are simply the worst!

The driver (Adam) kept my five hundred dollar pair of studio headphones over a forty dollar fare (which could have been half that if he didn't f around for an hour). After calling my bank and having them forward me fifty dollars as a one time extenuating circumstance issue - I paid him forty of the eighty I owed as Scotia downtown only had twenties at the ATM.

Despite making it excessively clear that I was good for it he chose to, with a sly smirk, keep my headphones. Thanks Adam of Sun Taxi, for showing me who you really are.

That one operator guy, pretty sure he works nights. Always says a cab is on the way and not one shows up ever. I’ve had to call back multiple times till one showed up. Other people have said the same as well.

Taxi 2148 seems to think that tailgating vehicles is perfectly acceptable. Wouldn't recommend taking a taxi in this town. I'd rather walk

I book a cab back and forth and he added a charge on me without telling me, I observed him. And most driver here are not friendly.

Stated with a $16 fee. Drove 7 minutes and ended up at $29.25. Told the fee stated at $15 because it was 5 people in A van. Tried to talk to a service coordinator and he refused to speak to me. Worst customer service ever
