I grew up in Poco but haven't been here in more than 20 years. The town sure got big and has lots of pizza options. I decided I'd try Sunfire Pizzeria because they have a very large vegetarian and vegan selection.
I ordered the Vegan Pepperoni Deluxe and a Vegan garlic bread. They were both delicious and I bet a carnivore wouldn't even know the difference.
The shop is very cute and the staff prepared my order very quick considering it was Friday evening.
The only downside was the location as far as drivability because it's in a pedestrian mall, so I had to park a few minutes away.
I would still highly recommend.

My work place makes large orders from this pizzeria consistently and it is always delicious and delivered in a timely manner.
We usually order 6 meat pizzas, 2 vegetarian and 2 vegan, 4-6 cheesy breads and drinks.

I can't rate the atmosphere because I've never sat down at the restaurant.

Disappointing Experience – Needs Serious Improvement

We were excited to try this pizzeria but unfortunately left very disappointed. While I understand that it's common in many kitchens for staff to handle food without gloves, I was surprised (and concerned) to see one of the workers prepping our pizza toppings with long acrylic nails. That’s a major hygiene red flag, especially when handling raw dough and toppings.

We ordered our pizza to go, but even fresh out of the oven, it was incredibly dry. The sauce was sparse, and the pizza base was flavorless. There was no cheesy stretch or melt, which was a huge letdown. Honestly, it felt like eating cardboard with arugula and prosciutto thrown on top.

We also ordered their baked wings, and sadly, they were no better. The breading was mushy and soggy. My partner couldn’t eat them and suggested tossing the rest.

We really wanted to like this place, but between the hygiene concerns and the low-quality food, it’s not somewhere we’d return to or recommend.

Tried the honey siracha flavored chicken wings and two medium pizza. Chicken cooked to just perfect. No parking available. Need to park on the stree for pickup. Overall good pizza place in poco.

Sunfire Pizzeria has lots of options for a decent price. A selection of slices are available to choose from if you just want a quick bite, or you can get one made fresh by selecting from their presets. We had slices of the Beef and Onion pizza which were very flavourful but a tad bit spicy for us. We’ll be back!

We’ve really enjoyed all the types of pizza we’ve tried so far, but what stands out the most are the two wonderful ladies who work there. They’re always welcoming, smiling, and go the extra mile to make every visit special.
