We recently had the pleasure of working with TALO with Justin and Chevy for our move from Nanaimo to the mainland, and we can't recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, their service was nothing short of exceptional. And as expats moving from country to country, we can truly speak to this experience!

Right from the beginning, Justin was incredibly cheerful and professional, making the whole moving process feel less daunting for us. He took the time to understand our needs and provided us with a detailed plan that put our minds at ease.

Chevy was equally fantastic on moving day. As a fellow cat owner, he truly understood our worries about moving with our furry friends. He handled our belongings with the utmost care, ensuring that everything was packed securely and transported safely. Their teamwork was seamless, and their positive attitudes made the experience enjoyable, even during the stressful moments of moving.

A special touch that really stood out for us was when Justin presented us with a little going-away bracelet gift from the new neighbourhood kids which was such a thoughtful gesture!

I’m very happy with ‘Take a Load Off’. Justin and Tum Tum provided my grandma today with kindness and efficiency. Their communication during the process was amazing; nothing damaged, broken, scuffed or scratched. Very careful when handling and very quick for a two man job. Couldn’t have been happier with these two. It was a lot given my grandma was on the top floor of her apartment moving into another apartment but they came up with ways to make it quicker, easier and save money where she could. (Not a lot of people left in the world like that)

All and all 10/10 experience. If you’re not sure who to call give these guys a try.

Extremely respectful and cautious movers, found both to be very gentle with our items, very knowledgeable and shockingly fast while keeping everything in pristine condition without a single dent in the wall despite narrow hallways. We had a totally unexpected pick up of 4 pieces of furniture and they made their warehouse available for us to pick up, in the span of 24 hours all was arranged. When we came in , 2 very friendly strong men came to help and all was loaded in less than 5 minutes. Communication was excellent. After chatting with them we learned that they deliver all over the island, which is very convenient for us as we live in a very remote location north of the island. We will definitely use their services from now on.

Five stars. Had a great experience with TALO and would recommend them for all your moving/packing needs. Moving is second on the stress scale, behind losing a loved one, so a fair amount of anxiety usually comes with a move. Mitch and Carl alleviated those concerns with their amazing work ethic while having the utmost care for our stuff. They were quick, hard working, and efficient throughout the process.

Carl and Mitch were amazing when it came to delivering my long haul move from Nanaimo to Keremeos . They communicated thoroughly and kept me updated accordingly. Arrived on schedule and unloading was fast and very efficient.
