The new self checkouts are horrible, very sensitive to bag weight, not all codes are correct for produce.
Today however we bought a cake to celebrate a birthday. We noticed one of the cakes had big cracks in the icing on the top, we picked the other, when we got it home we noticed it was cracked around the side.
Just over 3 hours later we served the cake only to find out it was partially frozen on the inside ?
Not impressed, $24 not well spent

I went to the Tsawwassen Store Floral Dept. a few days in advance and arranged for a special occasion delivery based on the their picture below (left), which is their Standard @ $69.99. However, we could upgrade to their Delux @ $74.00 or their Premium @ $79.99. I opted for the "Premium", being told it would be much more impressive. I then requested they send me a text picture 'before' delivery. The day before delivery they sent me the picture below (right). This was totally unacceptable, not even close to what was promised! Contacted them by phone immediately, requesting a cancellation and my money returned! After talking to them and their Customer Service they agreed to cancel & refund. We then arranged a purchase from another source.
The very next day Thrifty's 'still' delivered them anyway! So, so frustrating!!!

I come here a lot to get my flowers for family members and thriftys has always done an amazing job but as of late with new employees there’s been a huge decrease in quality of service…. I’ve had my flowers squished and broken due to poor bouquet wrapping… I still love coming here because it’s the closest flower shop to me with a wide variety of flowers to choose from but I will have to wrap them/arrange them myself from now on. I don’t want to sound like that type of customer (I guess I do now) but I needed to make it known to the flower department in some way that there needs to be better care taken into producing quality arrangements that customers pay for…

Thrifty foods tssawwassen today in the evening. The bakery staff is amazing. A young lady, her name was Muskan is such a helpful person I’ve met in there. She was so quick to help. I got a cake for my friends birthday, she made little hearts on it. Which were definitely so adorable and cute. Also, I was looking for the English
Muffins she walked with me and found some for me. So
Polite and kind person. The service was amazing. Would definitely recommend. ?

Went there for babys first birthday cake. They do honor a free cake for baby's first birthday and allow you to choose colour. Staff was extremely helpful and polite.

All the food here is so fresh! They have delicious sandwiches, wraps, sushi, and high quality fresh-cut flowers, seafood, and meats.

Inside is also clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

This place is a part of Sobeys so they accept airmiles. Of note, they make real cakes here which are awesome. I tried the black forest cake slice for 3.99 and it was superb. Moist, fresh chocolate cake with Tart cherry filling and real whipped cream. A quality cake slice that I gobbled it up and forgot to take a picture of it. They also sell some unique specialty food I have not seen elsewhere. A fun mini adventure.

This is a great location in Tsawwassen. The store is always well stocked. I am thrilled that they finally got self checkout . That was the only thing they were missing. Well done!
