Just came back from an oil change, same great service, same professional staff. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fabulous and Professional Customer Service..... Their work is top-notch and peace of mind is priceless. These guys go above and beyond for their customers. If I could give them 100 stars I would. It's great to find such a gem in a small town! Thank you, Total Automotive!

The excellent service at Total Automotive continues, from a seasonal tire change on one vehicle to an oil change on another. Nathan and his team continue to do a top-notch job. Even finding that my anti-freeze was down during the oil change. I am so thankful that he found this as it could have lead to more costly repairs down the road. He checked for leaks and pressure-tested the system. Thank you very much Nate, Ash, and Sherry.

I had to bring my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder Premium into Total Automotive. It was doing this weird thing where the center screen display would shut off and the trip meters would reset. Nate and Ash had it figured out in no time, turned out that I have to go to the dealer and get a software update. I appreciate the honest and professional service as well as their patience in taking the time to explain it all to me. Special shout-out to Sherry on the front desk, she's very knowledgeable and easy to talk to!

I had an incredible experience at Total Automotive! From the moment I walked in, the team was welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my vehicle and took the time to explain the repairs needed, making sure I felt informed every step of the way.

Not only was the service top-notch, but the turnaround time was impressive. I was back on the road sooner than expected, with my car running smoothly. The pricing was fair, and there were no hidden fees—just honest, quality work.

If you're looking for reliable, efficient, and friendly auto service, I highly recommend Total Automtive. They’ve earned my trust, and I won’t be taking my car anywhere else!

I brought my car to these guys to get a once over on the vehicle to make sure everything was good, they were very thorough with their check through and called me explaining every item of concern and what was needed to resolve the issue, after that they performed the repairs swiftly and with quality and safety as their top priority. I would recommend this shop to everyone who is looking to have their vehicle fixed and fixed properly!

I can’t say enough great things about this shop! As a woman, I’ve sometimes felt uneasy at auto repair places, but not here. They’re honest, charge fair prices, and take the time to explain everything without making me feel like I’m stupid. It’s clear they genuinely try their hardest to get to the bottom of your problem and fix it properly. The team is respectful, professional, and goes above and beyond to treat their customers well. I left feeling confident in their work and will definitely be back for any future needs. Highly recommend!

We used to take vehicles to a dealership for most work. Simply put - I got tired of being gaslit and treated like a number. We had some work done here on one of our vehicles and I wasn't sure what to expect. Here's what I found: if you're looking for honesty, transparency, and respect from the people that take care of your vehicle - that you rely on to get things done, then you have to check them out. Sherry at the front is authentic and knows her stuff. Nate in the back explained exactly what was going on and answered my questions.

Seriously. We'll be taking our whole fleet there from now on.
They put the "Customer" in Customer Service. Thanks Nate!

Interesting how they respond to every glowing review but if you have major problems with $9000 worth of work your completely ignored... If I could give a negative 100 review I would. They do not honor there warranty. Zero customer service! Stay far away from this shop. They seemed great till everything went wrong They do not stand behind there work. We gave them 4 tries to make this right. Learn from our mistake. We took our 67 baracuda in for a wheel alignment and to try to set the timing better. Long story short car died there and after they took half our engine apart. Told us it needs a full rebuild. This is not our shop we normally deal with but figured we'd give them a shot since they had everything apart and bill was already over $3000. First time they call and say car is done. I go pick it up and I notice 2 big paint chips in the paint which I point out and when they start it. It clearly has an exhaust manifold leak. So I leave it there. Second time they call its done. I go pick it up and drive it home. Park in driveway to get garage door opener and come right back out and the car won't start. Takes me over 10 minutes to get it fired up again. Back out of driveway and theres puddles of oil on driveway. Park it in garage and wait for my husband to get home. He looks under car and sees they smeared what looked like gasket maker all around oil pan to try to stop it from leaking. Looked like a kid in shop class worked on the car. Also puffing clouds of white smoke out of exhaust when he starts it. Transmission dip stick tube is now also leaking. They must have bumped it taking engine in or out. So he calls them and we now bring it back again for third time. He tells them everything he's not happy with. They say we'll fix it. So they clean all the goop off oil pan put a new gasket in and it's still leaking. They change transmission pan gasket also which my husband told them it was leaking from the tube. Than they call and say car is done again but still leaking and now we have to buy new oil pan and timing chain cover or they can't fix it. And we have to pay for transmission pan gasket replace but it's still leaking. So I phoned and was angry at this point. Nate the owner wasnt there so they put me through to the mechanic that's been working on the car. I pick up car and drive it home and it dies every time I slow down. I phone and the mechanic says it must be doing that because its colder out now than when he drove it earlier. It must be cooling down to fast... The next day my husband talks to Nate and all he said is. Tell your wife not to phone here again. So my husband agrees to order the parts and when they come in. We bring car back for the fourth time now.... He tells them again the transmission is leaking from dipstick tube and take your time and make sure it's fixed right this time.Test it and drive it make sure it's good. So they call again car is done but can't do anything with transmission tube. Take it to transmission shop. So my husband tries to drive it home and its even worse than before. He cant get it to stay running long enough to even get it into our garage. And pushes it the rest of the way. Now he refuses to go back there because they obviously don't know what there doing. So we're out over $9000 with there bill and the parts we had to buy and the car runs worse than ever and still have to fix paint chips and transmission. FYI any reviews more than a year ago are when Fred still owned this shop. We never had a problem with him. It's a new owner as of a year ago.
It's now more than 1year later that my husband phoned and left a message for owner to phone him back with no response. Zero customer service. Have a car sitting in our garage that is not driveable at this point with no resolution on how to resolve this even though it has a year warranty. As soon as you put it in gear it dies. Has valve train noise and smokes like crazy. He also asked for old oil pan and timing chain cover back and they never gave them back to us........

I’m not looking to bash local businesses but they sent me a review request(after a terrible experience)so I’ll be honest. My son went in less than a year ago and had his spark plug wires replaced. 8 months later same issue. They wouldn’t warranty the work. They said he must have been pulling on them, to which I disagreed because it made no sense. Then they admitted likely cheap wires to begin with. I asked to be compensated for the wires and agreed to pay for labour. They wouldn’t accommodate at all. Cost is another $400 for the exact same repairs we just had completed. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service. I am always an advocate for supporting local, however, in good faith I can’t recommend them after this. They could have keep a loyal customer by simply honouring their warrant on $150 wires. If you can afford to drive into Lethbridge you should. I miss the original owner, he did a better job of taking care of his loyal customers.
