I truly wish I could give them 5 stars. The service was excellent and on time, and the driver was responsive and friendly. I definitely recommend this company for transporting cars. The reason I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars is that a great company like this should be cautious about the brokers they work with. I dealt with Smart Carship LLC, and they scammed me by increasing the price by nearly 50% the day before pick-up, blaming it all on the transport company. I hope a reputable company like TransAuto Logistics becomes more selective about the brokers they work with to avoid these issues.

I had a pretty great experience with this company and the drive, Hoya. I went through Montway who connected me to Transauto logistics to ship my car from the west coast to east coast. My car was picked up on 7/13 and received it 7/18. I don't think they drove it on the weekend but either way it arrived with no damage. Hoya also texted me a day or two ahead of time to let me know when he would drop off the car and was within the time frame that he stated. He also called me when he was 30 minutes out for our meeting location. Great experience!

Awesome! The vehicle was delivered on time. We had a vehicle shipped from VA to CA. We went through Road Runner, and TransAuto Logistics was one of the contractors. They communicated with me, delivered it where we needed it, all on time. Joon was my driver and he definitely delivered! Excellent experience and if needed I won’t hesitate to call. To reiterate, Joon is the man!

Run! Do NOT use this company to ship your car!! This company scratched the front&back bumper, and side skirt of my car while transporting. The also refused to fix my car with the reason: They didn’t inspect the undercarriage of the vehicles when dispatch. Extremely irresponsible!!!!!

Last year I shipped my car home from Palm Desert CA to MA NOT USING TransAuto Logistics and it was a nightmare. The company said, for a higher figure, that I could ship my Highlander with a roof carrier. I ended up in a beef with the driver at the pickup spot over said roof carrier. I called the arranging company and my agent didn’t pick up or respond to my vmail so I was left to my own devices. It was awful and I was left very wary of these companies.
Not the case at all with TransAuto Logistics. The company’s price was extremely competitive. The agent, John K, I worked with was very helpful, upfront as to expectations and worked to make sure there were no last minute surprises. The driver, as I experienced and described by John, was fabulous. He got my vehicle across country “lickety split” and agreed, since he figured he’d be arriving in MA at close to my arrival time, to meet me close to the airport thus saving me the trouble and expense of having to rent a car. We picked a rendezvous spot close enough to the airport so he could park his truck and he told me to call him when I was in a cab. I was skeptical we could pull this off given he drove and I was flying across the country but it worked out perfectly!!! I landed, got in a cab, made the call and we met 15 minutes later. I would’ve bet a bunch this transfer couldn’t have so smoothly but to my very pleasant surprise- it did….. I can’t say enough good things about TransAuto, John K and Hoya the driver. A 5 star rating is very appropriate. Thank you John and Hoya for a job well done.

I put a protective plastic film coating on my brand new Bronco. Shipped it from Reston to Long Beach and while the driver was inspecting it he decided to pinch a plastic bubble and removed some of the protective film. I filed the claim and the claim adjuster said there was nothing he could do…let’s take a quick poll..someone physically does something to damage a part of your vehicle and the are not responsible because it was an accident…isn’t that why business have insurance? To cover accidents? No standard inspection procedures and these guys think they will get away with damaging the film…it’s the wild Wild West with these guys …don’t recommend

They did a fantastic job getting my car from CA to NJ within 7 days, really 4, as that’s when they got on the road. I did have to go out of the way a bit to get it to them, but that’s because I wanted to get it done within my time frame. The price was spot on!

The guys from the dispatcher, to the person picking up the car locally, and the long haul driver were pleasant to deal with.
