Transport Experts International, II was connected to Transport Exports through a quote to ship a van Bia the site Uship. They agreed to a quote to ship my van from CA to MI with a 4 day pickup window. They not able to meet the pickup window and this was a private vehicle sale and the seller took of the date of the promised pickup. When I contacted them, they proceeded to encourage me to cancel my Uship quote, saying he could not do it. (A lie I discovered when speaking with Uship Customer Support). He feared negative impact on his profile. The shipping provider wanted to circumvent, Uship which made me uncomfortable because a business who is willing to break a contract with Uship, lost my trust that they would not do the same with me. And this is after they already have by missing the 4 day pickup window and I had to contact them. I called Uship support and they were very helpful and canceled my unmet contract. However, my only suggestion to Uship is to vet their providers better, this company I urge Uship them to vet their shipping providers a bit better. Transportxperts was the provider I was dealing with and as early as the bid process they were flagged in my communications for trying to circumvent Uship. I have shipped 3-4 cars now and have never dealt with such a shady transport logistics company. And they have a 4.8/5 star ratting. I spoke to 4 different employees in trying to arrange the pickup or find out more information and after each contact I felt more and more uneasy trusting them to handle the Promaster Camper Van we have been saving for 3 years to purchase. I don't think it was a bad apple employee Transportxperts and integrity are not words that belong in the same sentence they were systemically unethical, pushy, and non-responsive.
