Edit: Full refund received. I was unable to get through to the below number, but did hear back from Andrew via email. After initially receiving multiple messages that they were only willing to work with me if I deleted my review, they agreed to refund my full move amount given the circumstances.

Communication and booking experience were all excellent. Movers were friendly and efficient. I understand there were also some last minute staffing changes on the day and appreciate the effort that went into making sure movers were available on my booked date. Only issue is that I called ahead (and confirmed with the driver when he picked up the truck) that moving blankets would be provided. When movers arrived I also made mention of a few items that were particularly important to me that they were handled carefully (original mid century items that have moved with me internationally). When my things arrived to their destination, I noticed some damage to a few items items (including where they had been turned onto wooden sides and pivoted along the ground). I was told that because of the last minute changes the truck wasn’t stocked properly so they weren’t able to protect the furniture like they usually would, and for future booking would definitely be more prepared with moving blankets. Also paid $16 to cover a mattress which was dragged along the ground anyway. If I’d known this was the case my preference would have been to reschedule to another day when they could have come with the right equipment as it’s a shame that 60+ year old items that have survived a move all the way from Australia have now been damaged on a 1km move within Saskatoon. After reading everyone else’s 5 star reviews it seems like my experience may have been an outlier, but this sadly won’t help my now damaged furniture.

TWO SMALL MEN WITH BIG HEARTS was a very reliable, safe and professional moving company for our local move. They were transparent with their hourly rates and fees - offering us a fast, safe and secure move. They made sure to explain and confirm all packing and moving details beforehand. They even moved our piano securely. We would definitely use this moving company again. Thank you guys!

WARNING to all - This will be your biggest mistake using this company!!!!

I will be posting all communications I receive from this incompetence here until I get my money they have taken

The email is from Andrew (see the photo) this is now more than a week and they are still acting like it should be my problem as a customer to figure out why their accounting is a mess

My deposit of $100 was taken in addition a full amount was taken for the payment

I still don’t have compensation for the damaged fireplace TV stand and don’t bother contacting this fake number the owner he doesn’t answer calls

Please be careful when booking with these people. I asked for my receipt since the move happened on Sunday and it’s Thursday now still no receipt from accounts and it is now holding up my insurance claim. As the move happened due to flooding. I am due to be reimbursed for the move but can’t submit the claim without the receipt. It’s unprofessional. It doesn’t take any business these days 4 days to send someone a simple receipt. Don’t bother emailing Kristina she does not reply.

Our move went very smoothly, and the cost stayed the same unless I added additional pick-ups, and I did. The cost was reasonable, and the guys were friendly. And most of all fast and efficient. Not a single thing was broken. I would recommend two small men with big hearts and absolutely higher them again. Infact i have used them before and they were recommended to me by a friend who also had a great experience and who also continues to hire them. I wish I got the names of the two young men who did the move so I could publicly let them know what a great job they did. Awesome company, thanks guys.😁

Several items were not wrapped or covered with moving blankets. The move involved travel on gravel road, which was fully disclosed. Significant damage to the several items; some repairable, some not. Glass, mirrors are not covered under the insurance, so get insurance outside of TSM. The additional insurance policy was purchase, but the settlement being offered does not exceed the baseline $2 per pound coverage - even though several items were damaged beyond repair, which should result in the $5 per pound settlement. Communications regarding the settlement have been poor at best; it has take four emails to receive a breakdown of the 'offer'.
9/24/25 - Andrew, the number you have provided is not in service. I have been emailing with Elaine D on this claim; perhaps you can connect with her to sort this out.

Good pricing, easy to book and the moving team was efficient and easy to work with on the day of the move. The only brief hiccup was when I was overcharged for a prolonged break that the moving team took, and we had a disagreement about the length of time I should be charged for. Happy to report that after a few emails with their customer support team, the extra charges were removed from my bill. I would book with Two Small Men again for my next move.

Steve, Brian and Keenan were absolutely amazing! I had a lot to move, some really heavy pieces, many fragile items and they worked so hard, and so carefully! I was beyond pleased with their work ethic and their friendliness. They were very accommodating and didn’t lose patience with my being stressed and overwhelmed. I will be requesting them for my next move for sure! Thank you Steve, Brian and Keenan for being such tremendous help to me!! I appreciate you all very much!!

We hired this company and were horribly disappointed. Our new leather furniture was damaged to the point that the edges were scrapped off, and several cuts along the bottom of the couch. Brand new bench which was bubbled wrapped scratched on arms. The movers dropped our treadmill off the truck, and totally destroyed it. Smashed my art glass, corner of coffee table chipped off. There was very little that was not damaged. We payed over 7,000 dollars for the move and extra insurance.The insurance on the move stated that anything we packed was not covered we had paintings damaged, cracked the glass, and smashed other glass pieces of art. They scratched the hard wood flooring, damaged our walls, and scratched our solid wood hand railings I would never recommend them to anyone. Read the contract before you consider using this company!
