I made an appointment to get a hitch and bike rack installed.
Tom the assistant manager took care of my booking and was so kind and helpful to rebook at another time when an emergency came up for me.
They even called me back to reschedule which I appreciated.

Collin the manager installed my hitch and went the extra mile. They assembled my bike rack for my e-bike and attached it to my new hitch. The bike rack assembly is FREE!
I called around and this was the best price you can find for a hitch and a bike rack install. Also the hitch has a lifetime warranty.
I would highly recommend going there for this service.

We used this facility to store furniture and household items for 16 months during a work term for school. There were no food or known rodent attractive items. For the cost of what we oaid to store our belongings we definitely expected better. Much of the items were soiled with rodent feces and urine. What was salvageable had to be washed and repacked and the remainder was discarded. When we brought it to the attention of the desk attendant they didn’t even offer to look at the unit-we were simply told that no one has ever complained about that before. We filled out the emailed survey and received no response. Would definitely not recommend this facility for any type of long term use or storage of anything that can’t be easily washed. Please wrap things well if your choices are limited and you plan to use it!!!! No pictures unfortunately because we didn’t even think about it-we were too occupied with figuring out how we going to get everything out without getting dirty.

Services received are not as offered. Don't fall for their first month storage unit for free, nothing is free. Don't believe them when they say 24hr access, there is no 24hr access on any of their storage units, inside or out thats faults advertising too. Not helpful in any way for both truck rentals or storage units. Seen bed bugs in the indoor storage unit building too. Use this place with caution if at all.

Had a great experience here, I came in to get small, medium and large size boxes. The attendant was super helpful and let me know which boxes I don’t use. I can bring back if they’re not damaged for a refund and he gave me a invoice. He also helped me load my car, which was super helpful as I’m not able to lift a lot right now.Thanks so much!

I have had many storage units in the past but this has got to be hands down the worst one I have ever dealt with. The manager Colin Weese has no business being in customer service due to his poor social etiquette. I have a long term storage unit rental and lost the key, and he rudely told me they do not cut the lock off and I had to get a locksmith which cost me $150. I've been to other storage companies where they don't treat you like this. He told me basically to go back to the other place then. They are always understaffed at the customer service desk and the wait times are inexcusable and not to mention no one ever answers the phone. Do yourself a big favour and never deal with this location. The worst!!!

Not the first time I’ve used U-Haul, but definitely the worst experience.

I originally booked a truck from the Ancaster location, but the day before pickup, I was informed that I would need to collect the vehicle from a different branch at 2275 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON.

When I arrived, I was told I had to purchase insurance — even though nothing during the online booking process indicated it was mandatory. After bringing the truck home, I discovered the back door was jammed and unusable.

A mechanic was eventually sent out, but not until 1 a.m., waking up half the neighborhood with the repair noise. While I appreciate that someone came to fix it, the poor timing and complete lack of accountability were unacceptable.

I submitted a complaint afterward but never received a follow-up. When I called again today, I was told that Mr. Weese, the manager, had emailed me — which I never received or saw any trace of.

I strongly do not recommend this location. Save yourself the hassle and book with a more reliable U-Haul branch.

Zero(0) stars for Bruno but 5 stars to Alicia Both works at this location Bruno was not helpful at all. I went there to buy 86” TV box he said go check there if its available bring it to cashiers to bill. I was like ok fine. Did all that went to my SUV but box did not fit. I went back store was still open and about to close in 5 minutes. I told i want to return as this doesn’t fit. He was like sorry man i cant do anything and store is closing in 5 minutes. Like seriously.

On the other hand Alicia said she can help me out and she did. She needs a raise.

If their manager is reading this review Bruno needs training on how to treat customer and Alicia can give him a training.

Rented a 15’ van for moving, and the whole process was SEAMLESS!

I had a bad experience with U-Haul at a different location last year, so I was skeptical. But this location completely changed my mind. The service was fantastic! They guaranteed my pickup from this location and actually had the truck ready—no last-minute scrambling to find one elsewhere.

The truck was clean, and check-in was super easy with the online process. I was falling behind on my move and needed to extend for a couple of hours—no issues at all, they handled it smoothly.

For drop-off, I expected the usual hassle of taking tons of pictures, but when I arrived, the staff was happy to take the van and complete the process for me. It’s rare to see such great customer service these days!

Highly recommend this location!
