The reservation and pickup was quick and easy as in previous times over the years, however the self return requires the uploading of photos through the App or online via browser, and the photos were not showing up. That was a bit of a waste of time, at a moment most people are super tired after a moving day.
Overall, U-Haul has been a very reliable outfit for all my moves for over 32 years, even when moving an entire family home across BC in a biggest truck they offer. Thank you for keeping a great level of service.

If ZERO stars were an option it would be zero stars. Had a paid for booking for a tow hitch installation, this branch leaves me to arrived at the location and THEN tells me in a very rude way that the installer works till 4:30, and he will not be doing the installation today. This was booked for several weeks and paid for well in advance. I had a missed call but NO message from them. The level of arrogance and rudeness from the people behind the counter left me deciding to pay more elsewhere as I will not be spoken to like I am a nuisance because I want to PAY THEM to do work for me.

Was traveling from Vancouver out east for a gig with my band had issues after dealing with the U-Haul in Surrey resulting in loss of the trailer brake and turning lights. Wyatt who worked at this Kamloops location not only was able to figure out what the issue was but got us on our way with little to no issue. We were able to make it to our shows and safely and for that were eternally grateful. Wyatt is your go to problem solver at this U-Haul location. He deserves a raise with a prime rib steak quarterly!

Please make sure to note the mileage or take a picture of the odometer when taking their trucks. I made the mistake of not doing so and ended up being charged for 40 kilometers even though I only drove 13. Not trustworthy. The staff is rude and makes weird faces if you ask questions about the policy, making you feel like they’re not in the mood to talk or help.

Paula is amazing. Twice in a row, a year apart, she has provided exemplary service. The rest of the staff is excellent too. Obviously a workplace that takes pride in their performance.

Clean, easy to rent . From the amazing young fella at 51 Ave Edmonton, that was brilliant in coming up with a solution for me to get IN the truck, to the simple drop off in kamloops Halston location. Thanks uhaul for making this easy for me!

Have to pick up the truck in a different city. Pay for the gas ourselves and back track 1 hour. Cool. Cool. Cool

I had reserved a 20’ truck well in advance for my relocation that was due on March 28th. A day before I am supposed to collect the truck, I get a call stating that the requested truck is not available and a 16’ truck can be arranged. For which I agreed, then they say but that truck will only be available at noon. My original pickup time was 7am and I had accordingly called and booked a moving company at Kamloops and at Kelowna where I am moving and let both my landlord know of the move out and the move in times.
This last minute call with soo much changes caused so much stress and eventually I had to cancel everything.
This is something which I didn’t expect from such a highly reputable organisation.
