I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with U-Haul Moving & Storage of South Walkerville. I had high expectations, but the service I received was far below acceptable standards.

First, the employees are good at lying. Do not ever trust the employees here and check out yourself until you get the final paper in hand. Do not return the key to employees washing the truck in the bay area. They will tell you that they will adjust any incorrect number themselves without me having to go to front desk. Then you will realize that they will charge you for anything they can find suspectable.

The customer service was equally disappointing. The staff were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in assisting me. They were rude when I asked questions and did not provide clear instructions or information about the rental process.

Overall, my experience with U-Haul Moving & Storage of South Walkerville was extremely frustrating. I will not be using their services again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Did a small move of a bed and 3 boxes. Return the truck via the drop off, got my receipt, and this morning I wake up to a 300$ "large dent" damage charge.

I drive there because I know it was babied and returned with no damage. I find the vehicle in the lot and inspect it 2 times, can't find a dent anywhere.

An employee didn't look at it just found the guy who I assume found damage. He then shows me the 2 small chips that honestly could have been there before unnoticed when I took the truck. You can't even see them 2 feet away.

It was explained to me that is damage and I am responsible for it. What? I drove the truck, I didn't hit anyone, didn't "dent it". The guy told me he only had 3 options to file it so had to use large dent. If it can't even be an option than I would assume you can't file it as damage.

Absolutely unreal experience. Would not rent from this company again if they are going to gouge customers hundreds of dollars for simply using the vehicle. Take a look at that photos- it's literally nothing.

Wow first time @ this location. We got a 20”ft truck . boxes, moving blankets dolly,they have everything we needed. & the truck was very clean.

Have a storage unit at uhaul for 3 months now. Called the office more times than I can count. Every single call I'm immediately put on hold and no one ever comes back on the line. I asked for a call back through their website and when they called back it was a computer that again left me on hold. 3 months still can't talk to a single person. Guess they don't want my updated info enough to answer the phone. I've gone into office and waited endlessly until finally just walking out.

Request U-Haul to install a hitch, what a total failure. Here is the outline of events:
• Started the process to have U-Haul install the hitch:
• There were issues obtaining the hitch – I personally drove from Windsor to a Hamiliton U-Haul, to pick the part up.
• Dropped the car off 2 days later to have the hitch/wiring harness installed at the Windsor U-Haul.
• Three hours later received a call that the U-Haul certified mechanic (Alex) would not install the hitch.
• His reasons:
1. He does not feel safe working on an electric car.
2. He was texting with his college instructor who advised this.
3. He told me the remote of my car should be locked up away from the car.
4. He told me to go to the dealer to get the hitch installed.
5. He was very obnoxious and cocky.
• Why this was ridicules:
1. There is a U-Haul certified hitch installer expert that shows how to install the hitch and wiring harness on y-tube.
2. There are many do-it-yourself y-tube videos that show how they installed the hitch and wiring harness.
3. The U-Haul Windsor location ordered the hitch and wiring harness and quoted installation on the "U-Haul system", lol.
• I and a friend installed the hitch and wiring harness the next day which took about 4 hours. We are "not" certified mechanics.

This experience was a total failure by U-Haul and most irritating was the interaction I experienced with the U-Haul certified mechanic, Alex. This young man was not polite, very cocky and simply did not want to install the Hitch or was just not capable, in my opinion.

Was on hold for 51 mins for me to have to hang up and call back reach someone at this location that had no idea how to serve me. Hire people that know what they are doing! Terrible service all around!
