I’m not sure why I didn’t write this sooner. But back in august of 2023 this location had a fire causing lots of renters to lose their belongings. I myself had a unit on the top floor. When I had gone in to get the unit a couple weeks prior to the fire I was told that U-Haul had not offered insurance. Which is definitely a lie because it is listed on the website. I was NOT Compensated what so ever for the things I had lost in the fire due to being told “we don’t offer insurance” on top of all that, When I had come back to this location to go through my unit after the fire had happened to try and salvage
What was left of my belongings, u-haul had “hired” people to help remove people’s belongs and transfer them to the big dumpsters they had provided outside the building. Upon arrival and opening up my unit these “workers” told me that nothing was salvageable and I should just throw everything out. (We only had smoke damage and water damage to boxes but all the clothes that were in plastic bags at the bottom of the unit were completely fine just wet) Which I didn’t care what was ruined I just wanted to find a denim jacket that belonged to my father who passed many years prior as it was the only thing I had left of his. WHICH I HAD TOLD THESE “WORKERS” THAT!! WITHOUT my consent these “workers” started to grab the garbage bags I had clothes in and started to take them away and throw them out WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT! bags I hadn’t even gone through yet to find the jacket.. they were also rushing me to go through my unit and not giving me any time to try and find the only thing I wanted to save. Absolutely NO sympathy for what I had just gone through. I have already gone through a house fire and lost lots of my belongings due to that I was really struggling trying to pull myself together and go through my unit without having a breakdown. Every bag I had grabbed to go through and grab the next these “workers” were grabbing the bags I was grabbing and throwing them out without me even realizing or acknowledging it. I had kept repeating “please don’t throw this out yet I need to go through it to find the jacket!” Without my consent they kept throwing out things I was putting aside TO KEEP!!!!! I was in the process of moving so my whole entire life was in that unit. I debated on getting lawyers involved due to them lying about not offering insurance but wasn’t sure I wanted to take that route. Please be wary of this location due to the lying and unprofessional I had experienced. Edit: I am from Edmonton have dealt with U-Haul a couple times and this is the first time I have ever been lied to about them not offering insurance.

I can’t express enough gratitude for the outstanding employees here. HUGE shoutout to Dario and Michael. They went far beyond the call of duty and were incredible.

While visiting their facility, I drove into a snow-filled ditch nearby. I felt completely stuck, but Dario and Michael were willing to rescue me without hesitation. They brought shovels, helped dig my car out of the snow, and ensured I was safely back on the road. Their kindness, teamwork, and willingness to help in challenging circumstances made me speechless.

In addition to their incredible generosity, they provided exceptional customer service while assisting me with my moving needs. They patiently explained their product options, recommended the best solutions for my situation, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

This team went above and beyond in their expertise, and I highly recommend Dario and Michael to anyone looking for top-notch service with a personal touch. Thank you for turning a stressful day into a positive experience!

Worst rental place to ever go to. Waiting line for 45 minutes just to get my trailer, to then wait an additional 30 minutes for somebody to come out help load the trailer up. Asked multiple times if someone was going to come and help and they were very understaffed. All the customers in the store were dealing with some sort of issue with their rental and obviously the staff were getting frustrated. Prices may be good but I’ll never come back. Absolutely 0/100

These awesome gals went out of their way to help us and you have no idea how much we appreciated it as the stress of moving so much stuff was crazy! Service was excellent and pricing very good. Only complaint is that I reserved blankets, an appliance rack and furniture moving rack, but there were none with our order and none in stock. At first, the gentleman helping us said it was not guaranteed and that was written in the fine print. NO one reads the fine print. He ended up giving us an appliance rack from his sales supply to use and arranged for blankets from another location. I was in an impatient mood that morning, made worse from delays with the "screw ups", and he handled it coolly and calmly. I ended up leaving a happy customer. Hence the excellent rating.

Taylor Not even deserved 1 start or talking to the customer at all , I’ve been customer here for several years . She yelled at Me at front of other customers because I asked her if it’s possible to get my receipt is being printed or not . If you are manger or owner of this shop please have ur stuff to learn some respect toward the client and let her know to be polite . She ruined my day because I asked her for my receipt.

Warning!! They charged my credit card for an extra $1500 for kilometres I didn't drive, when I only went a few blocks. I tried calling and they keep ignoring me. Do not rent from here. They will rip you off. I am now getting the Police involved.

Appreciate uhaul for the service, but why put Km on your estimates or on your prices but actually charge miles? Makes no sense lying to your customers. The customer service from the youngins at this location? Crap.

Called to ask why I got charged an extra $85 and they didn't seem to know what was going on they were saying you went over your km. Upon drop off (which also dropped the rig off a day earlier) I was told I'd have a recipt emailed to me, never got it emailed to me until I phoned to speak to them about the additional charge.

Long story short, if your gonna use uhaul use another location where they actually give a little care, and know what they are doing.
