I ordered small boxes at $21.98 for pickup in St. Albert and ended up getting a “handling” fee of $25 extra charge, this charge is due to congestion at their docks and will be charged on orders $300 and under. First, before I ordered I did check with staples not in supply, Amazon was actually a lot more expensive and delivery not right away. Listen not one time that I was there picking up did I see any “congestion” at the dock further more the time of pickup you have to choose so if there is any backup at the docks that’s on them not me! How does that constitute as my problem if anything the tardiness is within the building pulling the product in a timely matter, second, I am a small 1 person business who tries to be proactive by ordering a bundle at a time to save money, I cannot afford to order over $300 of product I probably will not use just to make sure I don’t have a $25 handling fee. Now if they would charge the fee on people who did not meet their pickup time that perhaps show up the next day, then I can see that. Maybe if Uline needs to save some money they should stop sending out the 1” thick catalogs monthly after being repeatedly told to stop.
So on this note, I now have to find alternative solutions because I cannot afford to shop here!

I wanted something that cost under 25$
Where I have my office I can’t receive delivery because it too sketchy, when I clicked checkout I was hit with a 25$ pick up charge This is beyond stupid. Uline is off the the supplier list.

Strongly recommend finding any other supplier and use uline as an absolute last resort. They charged me 25$ to drive to their store and pick up my own stuff, and called it a convenience fee. Then apologized that it wasn't explained to me that my order had to be over 300$ to wave that fee.

The blatant greed is absolutely astonishing but not surprising.

Anyone complaining about the $25 pick up fee: this is a warehouse facility. It’s not a come in and shop store. If you want retail products go to a retail store. If you want bulk products then buy more in bulk. I see how this fee is annoying but I also see why Uline added it.

I am happy to have an option for bulk items with the option for in store and same day pick up.

Giving a company 1 star after years of your business that was otherwise 5 star service is ridiculous.

I'll shop elsewhere. Why offer cash and carry if you will surcharge the small purchases?

I ordered 1 thing 1 time 9 years ago and now I get spammed with catalogues and they refuse to stop.

I'm pretty sure by now they have spent more in catalogs for me, than my 1 idea.

Also I now hear they charge $25 for YOU to pickup. What a terrible cash grab.

I love this place, so organized and I never had an issue with my order and the people are always nice.

They lose one star for wasting paper and continuously hand out catalogs for every order you make, plus they mail you one every year. Think of all the trees and processing just to have it go straight to recycling. 😞

I picked up a couple things for the family's business and was shocked to see just how well kept and maintained the property was. It honestly looked like a private property. The grass was immaculate and nothing looked out of order. Once going into the warehouse down by bay 13, the first thing I thought of was " I could eat off of these floors" CLEAN and organized is an understatement!!
