We have used Universal to help us with insurance claim work, and they were so great that we hire them privately now. Their staff are friendly and very competent. They are organized from the moment you call until the project is complete, they work in a timely manner, are careful and tidy while in your home, and keep their timelines. We had a very difficult drywalling job that they helped us with and completed it with exceptional skill. These guys are great! We can’t say enough good stuff about them.😁

Very very Poor Communication Always have to call universal restorations with what is going on. They don’t clean up after the job is done. Floors a mess through out the house. They never covered up the new flooring walked all over it with their shoes on would not recommend PG Flooring they never check out the work the contractors do. Was not happy with they first put in the laminate flooring then walked all over it to do the tile flooring in the kitchen had stains and dirt all over the laminate. Recommend ON SIDE RESTORATION VERY GOOD SERVICE

Used URS for insurance claim. Repair work itself was fine and all and all took about 6 months which is fine too. However, several scheduling issues with contractors arriving at house without giving notice or not arriving when scheduled and several message to the project manager were not returned. Right now base boards were damaged during repair work and I was told someone would come out a month ago for about a 15 minute fix job, no one arrived. Have phoned them 3 times since to reschedule and they have not returned my call, guess i'm finishing the job myself.

I don't write reviews often but this company deserves way more than 5 stars.
I'm a tennant and my basement suite flooded in December. I'm a single mom with a 5 year old and 2 cats.
To my understanding a suite has to be vacant before they start the tear down. This company has be very accommodating. Not only did the guys work around my belongings, they went above and beyond!
I came home and found that they moved my sectional and my rug back how I had it before. They taped down something so it wasnt cold walking around on the concrete floors. They were patient with my cats and moved them, the litter box, and cat tree in different rooms as they were working. One of the gentlemen also helped me scrape off my car windshield one morning.
They made this super stressful time easy for my little family.  I am forever grateful for them. Thank you so much for all of your help and keeping me updated on everything that was happening day to day. You all need a raise!!

I am so impressed with Ken at URS Prince George. All I can say is that I have never had a renovation completed as professionally as this ever! I’ve done many different projects in PG throughout the years and thus has been the most pleasant one. Again if you have a chalice use these guy. Thanks agin Ken I will be using you for all my work from here on. It’s nice to have the service we all look for in a local company
