Spectacular value for the dollar, and almost shockingly affordable. New refurb, modern fixtures. Staff are excellent, hotel rents out gear for lots of fun activities at good prices.

I stayed here one night because of a highway closure, but my wife and I immediately started talking about booking this place next summer for a vacation. Photos from this review were taken after dropping in with no notice and walking into the room; this is how it looks for any customer.

Tja, laat ik positief beginnen. Een ster omdat de kamer schoon was en het minder gehorig was dan ik ter plaatse bang voor was.||Het bleek een omgebouwde motel 6 te zijn. Alles spierwit en goedkope uitstraling. Op zich geen probleem, maar de kamers waren erg klein. En douchekop was hoog. Het gevoel van “liefdeshandeling” dat ik van Motels heb werd hiermee bevestigd. De hottub was gesloten. Het restaurant en de bar sfeerloos en zonder gasten (zelf ook maar links laten liggen) en het personeel vriendelijk, totdat ze in huilen uitbarstte. In het telefoon gesprek dat er gevoerd werd, herleide ik dat het werkgerelateerd was. Drie nachten geboekt en in die drie nachten geen housecleaning service gezien. Tot overmaat van ramp kwamen er regelmatig goederentreinen langs op 30 meter afstand met tientallen wagons. Daar waar het geluid van de buren redelijk geïsoleerd was, was dat naar de buitenzijde toe alles behalve dat. Gelukkig kan ik slapen, ook al is niet helemaal donker, want de lampjes van de TV, brandmelder en de wifi versterker verlichte de hele nacht de kamer.

The rooms were really quiet other than the rumble of the train but to be perfectly honest, it wasn't loud and piercing, it was sort of like thunder in the distance and helped me sleep.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and very modern.

We only picked this hotel at random when we were passing through Revelstoke but we enjoyed ourselves so much we've agreed that we will be coming back for a longer stay to Revelstoke and this hotel!!

I want to start this review by saying first and for most that the rooms are affordable and atheistically pleasing. They provide super comfy bed that felt luxurious.

However, some of the things that detracted from our stay include that in the room there is no place to store clothing. There are hooks along all the walls to hang stuff. But having all of your gear/clothes decorating the walls feels a bit odd and there is space for some sort of storage.

Also while I’m grateful the hotel offers pet friendly rooms. That is where the gesture stoped. There was no offer of a pet bed or even bowls for food/water. Maybe this is considered a luxury? But it would have been nice if I could have been told in advance to expect this. The fee for having a pet should just be considered a damage deposit.

Finally, while I admired the idea of having an active cafe & bar instead of the traditional free hotel breakfast of toast and cereal. Sadly, I felt like the execution wasn’t done well. The staff were lovely, but often felt like they weren’t available or weren’t equipped for the job. Had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Both times the meals were delayed and the food in some way was a bit undercooked and underwhelming for the cost.

This was actually a theme for all of our stay. We constantly couldn’t find help or the staff. Or get a hold of anyone. I understand that they need breaks, but why not post the hours they are away or at least leave a place to get in contact with them. It often felt less like a hotel and more like staying with friends as a guest and that their service was a favour and not a job.

So glad we booked at this hotel for our get-away to Revelstoke. The room was spotless, nice, cozy and very comfortable. So accessible, within walking distance to downtown, Centennial Park and restaurants. We found the bar cool! Needless to say, surrounded by the mountains, it felt like the best we could hope ❤️ Oh, and check-in and check-out felt like a breeze with their app ✨️

It's clear from the moment that you arrive that a lot of care and thought has gone into the revitalization of this older motel. Fantastic staff, clean, fun and lively! Whilst the hotel has amazing amenities on site it's also just a short walk to town to explore.

Service and staff is incredible.
Pet friendly patio with fire pits and BBQ is a great space to spend evenings with your friends and family. Gear rental available too.

Newly renovated hotel, with bright/clean rooms and comfy beds! You can check-in and unlock your room with an app which is something I have not seen before. The common area at the front of the hotel and the bar area are something special. Great to see an older property rejuvenated like this!
