Incompetence or negligence? Spent $150.00 cat was misdiagnosed. Took her back because infection was getting worse. They refused to reimburse me so I left the cat there. I expected the cat would not survive overnight. Picked her up the next day and they charged me an additional $170.00. Pearl nearly died from mastitis.

Just moved to Hardisty from Edmonton and needed my American Eskimo inoculated so she could stay at a kennel. The staff were so amenable for accommodating last minute sensitive (my bad; 2025 resolution stop last minuteintg everything) my timeline and just over all customer service with my anxious fur baby (with the move and all she had a bit of a hard time adjusting)….. anyways we could make it work out last minute to cold lake on the bicentennial and with the over booked kennel to boot.

4 weeks later my husband wanted cats and I acquiesced and once again one of the best response and booking times I’ve ever experienced (Vancouver, Kelowna, Osoyoos, Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton, Grand Prairie, Montreal, Toronto, Baltimore, Vegas even Scottsdale over the last 14 years). It’s awesome to see a staff that do care again and I’m very appreciative of everything this establishment has done for me especially with my fur children.

Highly recommend. Brought my 5yr old GSP here for a skin infection, where able to take me in the same day, even without being my regular vet. Listened well and provided great care and treats. Antibiotics and ointments he should be on the mend in no time. Thanks again.

Heard some rumblings around town about both vets (and totally agree with people about the one by mcdonald's...), but this vet saved my dog!! We were struggling with allergies and NOTHING worked. We even spent $1000 @ the other vet's & had allergy testing done (they lost the results, we had to get blood drawn again, and i am not even 100% sure these are accurate, or his results).
This vet on 2nd Ave, gave Luke a check up and an allergy shot. My dog is all better! No more cone, benedryl, probiotics, & home remedies! Unfortunately, we do have to go back when it gets bad again ( few months to a year), but she said we don't need an appointment for that & will just have to pay for the shot! It is a bit pricey, but with the money spent on trying to comfort him and trying different foods, we are actually gunna save money with this!
Kudos to this vet!
(Pro tip: she also told us to put his smoked bones in the oven before giving them to him. This kills bacteria and helps avoid infections around the mouth)

Honestly such a wonderful, very happy and welcoming team! They were great with my cat, and answering all of my questions. Deb has always been amazing with all of my animals so when I found she was now in wainwright I had zero hesitation with booking my cat to get spayed it's a bit of a further trip for me but knowing my animal is in good hands is worth the extra drive.

Went in to have my cat, best friend, and constant companion of 18 years put to sleep and the staff were very compassionate and efficient.
The vet could see how much I was hurting and expressed genuine empathy as he did the job quickly, and didn't hang around offering false platitudes.
