The 2 gentlemen that came to help us move were fantastic. This review has nothing against them whatsoever. I had a quick closing on a new home; the owner actually cancelled a job stating “they didn’t confirm, so the slot is yours”, which was good for me- but I should have known better. We moved on Thursday. I am still missing 1 truck of items. Owner doesn’t know when they will have time to move the rest, as they have other priorities. Wouldn’t you finish a job in order to start a new one After calling multiple times, the owner ended up hanging up on us, and not answering the phone. They did come with a pick up on a holiday to drop off some items (an aquarium for my sons turtle- who was in distress for being in a cooler for 24hrs). Thankfully- or I am sure it would have died.
We had 2 trucks. Got the keys between 5-6 Thursday, which is absolutely normal, and the owner wouldn’t drive the 2nd truck. So now my belongings are “somewhere” and I will get them “in the next few days”. I am sorely disappointed in how this went. Even more so, NO apology from the owner. In fact, we only get ignored, hung up on and vague responses.
I hope the 2 gentlemen who moved us will see this and know how appreciated they were. They tried their hardest to pack some things to make the move in one truck when they found out the owner was refusing to help. Disgusting business. Stay away. The stress of moving is too much on its own.

We started with booking 2 moving dates approximately 3 weeks apart. The first day they were instructed to empty the garage of stored contents and the living room set. The guys left 1 leather chair behind out of a 3 piece living room set (all situated in the same room). I was frustrated as I had to go back with my partner that evening and pick up the chair.
I called the owner and she was completely uninterested in the situation, blamed it on us and then asked whether this was about money. I expected a small discount to compensate and left it with her.
She called my partner 4 days to confirm the 2nd date, continued to argue about the first bill and finally settled on $50 off. One day before the move date she called again and cancelled due to staff not wanting to do the job because she complained to them about the $50 off (she also asked if we tipped the crew as she suggested to take the money off their tip and she keeps the full bill amount. She had a smug attitude and surely it was her plan to leave us hanging - over such a simple thing !
Long story short …. Stay away from Wayne’s Moving, the owner (Mary) is delusional, rude , unreasonable and hostile.

PS- I’ve used her twice in the past for large jobs in my business …. NEVER AGAIN.

My grandmother recently booked with this company to move her from her home in brantford to her new home in simcoe. They told her they would not move certain items ( a modern grand father clock and 2 large mirrors) told her she would have to move them herself . This woman is in her 70s...
less then 24 hrs after booking they called and canceled her because they had a bigger job that was further away and " they wouldn't have the man power". So they canceled an elderly woman's move for a job that would pay more. And they were extremely rude to her on the phone to top it all off. I can not believe how unprofessional this company is! Get anyone to move you but these people !

Four plus years ago we sold our side- split and moved into a condo. We had two different storage building during that time. Wayne & the crew put up with moving out of and into storage units and condo as well as last minute changes with a smile!

Helped my friend move the small delicate stuff and Wayne and his guys did the big heavy stuff. They were awesome. Only took 2 short breaks.
Never stopped till it was all done. Even moved some extra stuff that was already in the new place. This was in mid April. Polite. Highly recommend

On December 23rd Wayne's Movers Moved me from Waterford to Jarvis. During the move the back of a leather chair was torn and ripped. After speaking with a supervisor on the phone (Mary) she reluctantly agreed to load the chair back on the truck and repair it.
A few weeks went by and two UN-returned phone calls I showed up at the office. Long story short they denied responsibility. If the men moving admitted damaging there pay would have been docked. I ended up paying to have the chair they damaged reupholstered.
DON'T USE WAYNE'S. THEY DAMAGE YOUR STUFF AND DENY RESPONSIBILITY!

I had moving schedule with this company at 12 o’clock, not only they were 5 hours late, they couldnt even find an open adress, and they cancelled it. And I am not even mentioning that i had to call them to learn if they will be late or not, they didnt even bothered to call. In the end there was no moving just waste of time, this company is a waste of time.
