I personally didn't use the service, but watched someone who was using it and was very impressed. Taxi number 830 did an incredible job. He had a lot of compassion for the passenger who was a blind man. He went above and beyond and made sure the gentleman got into his destination safely. Mentioned the curbs and all the stairs for the man. Keep up the great work #830. Good job.

I witnessed extremely unsafe and unprofessional behavior from a Para Transpo taxi driver—speeding, illegal window tints, distracted driving, and making inappropriate gestures at other drivers. The driver even pointed to his dash cam as if to deflect blame, despite clearly being in the wrong. I have my own dash cam and the entire incident occurred in front of two dealerships on Carling Ave—meaning it was likely recorded from multiple angles.

When I tried to report this, the complaints department was dismissive—no report number was given, my account wasn’t taken seriously, and the issue was minimized as soon as I explained it.

This is deeply concerning. These are the people entrusted with transporting elderly and disabled members of our community. West-Way, you need to take accountability and ensure these drivers are removed from the roads before someone gets seriously hurt.

I would give zero stars if I could. I tried to book a pickup for the airport three different times through a combination of their online app and dispatch. They left my 80-year-old mom stranded all three times, telling her that she needed to book the cab at the “airport kiosk” that they couldn’t direct her towards.

We went with Uber instead. I would recommend you do the same.

Number 271 has a customer in the back and can barely see over the steering wheel. He didn’t check his mirrors on a double turn almost hitting me. Then he decides to go even faster almost hitting me again, within 1”, just to get to the left turn on Sussex. The best is when they pretend as if nothing happened. Putting his passengers life in danger and mine. This guy is a liability and should be checked to see if he actually knows how to drive?

I had a scary experience with Westway Taxi. The driver of car 714 blew a stop sign in a school zone, almost T-boning me and my child. To make matters worse, they were speeding—going about 30 km/h over the limit. This kind of reckless driving is completely unacceptable, especially near a school. I will never be using Westway Taxi and urge others to stay safe and avoid this service.

Was driving home after work with both my kids and this west way van unit #4074 license plate bxzy 593 cut me off and 2 other vehicles and when I passed him he gave the finger. Very uncalled for. Then when I drove behind him cuz I was turning later he tried to brake check me by slamming on the brakes twice. This driver is very reckless and should not be in the public transportation business.

I have had a great experience with West Way. Zack especially, a gentleman with old school manners. One driver dropped me off at a building that looked closed and was concerned for my safety, it was daytime in a quiet, safe neighbourhood
but I really appreciated his concern. Wait times 5 to 10 minutes. One driver picked me up in October and remembered picking me up in April to go to the airport. Sorry I don't know more names but you are all great. If I need a taxi, it's West Way. Thank you all
