I met lots of individuals at the centre, so welcoming and wanted to genuinely help me to find work. The courses are great. I am sure that the resume training really helped to get my resume in front of the right people. Alice worked tirelessly to help me anyway she could with regular phone calls and face to face meetings. Nothing I asked was too much trouble for this group of ladies from reception and through to me finding a job. They should all be proud of what they do for those who ask for help. Keep up the good work ladies.

Ive often used job centers for resume printing and job searches. But not enough people know about the programs for training, the assistance for supportive work needs and so much more that a case manager at WorkBC does for you.
I went in without a job, tired of seasonal work, and wanted to be self employed.
Over 4 months I attended workshops and got into a self employment program to help start my own business and I can't be more thankful.

My situation is unique and this place does offer.more benefits to those unemployed, but if people dpnt use this service all the social programs get discontinued and money averted to other things and in this economy we need all the help we can get

I got a workBC agent and without her I would still be working for just another temporary job.

The staff at this office are truly amazing. I've found each one of them to be knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating, encouraging, and very kind. I was unsure of what to expect being a newbie to the area, but I'm super grateful for their services and guidance. If you're willing to put in the work, they will provide the tools.

I have never has a good experience here. The office was empty and I just wanted to use a computer to apply for a job as I am passing through but but, no sorry, you have to register or go somewhere else. Curious that any other WorkBC will let you apply for a job without paperwork. Awesome use of Govt funds
