Very surprised at how quickly we were on and off the ferry, with customs being a breeze. The ferry was clean, and even though the water was a bit rough, the ride went quickly. Definitely would recommend it if you are in south Nova Scotia and need to get back to the states.

The prices are unfortunately quite expensive regardless of whether you want to book early or spontaneously, despite deals. We could do even better here. The terminal is classic and the staff are friendly.

We took the ferry from Bar Harbor to Yarmouth to begin our trip into Canada. Great trip! Live music, a good beer selection, decent food and boat travel is so relaxing. Plus we were able to bring our car

We made it to Yarmouth, NS. Canada. The Cat ride was awesome. Everyone so far has been awesome. A couple more border agents would have been nice in the check in process but it's a lesson in patience, right?

The ferry ride was good. Unloading in Yarmouth and getting through customs was horendous. Will never take this ferry again. Held up for hours totally unprofessional. Canada needs to do a better job at this border crossing.

Awesome way to travel. Taking the ferry out of bar harbor to Yarmouth was relaxing and scenic. Give up the drive and drift off to vacation.

The pre-boarding process was extremely easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. But your best bet is make sure you already have reservations, it will save you some time. Being on a motorcycle, they board all the bike at the same time in the same area. The boat provides ratchet straps and the staff gives you the option to strap your own bike down or they will do it for you. Once on the boat, there is a decent selection of food and beverages. The food was extremely good, priced a little on the high side, but well worth it. The scenery was amazing. The ride was a very smooth ride and the debarkation was very easy as well. This is a great way to travel from Nova Scotia back to Maine.
