Had 4 rides and they always come fast. For the first 3 times they skipped the tip option and even rounded the amount which is amazing! A reliable choice if you try to go anywhere when it's -30℃ outside.

After being warned off by City Cab Ltd reviews, we decided to stick with Yellowknife Cab and are very glad we did. They were prompt, courteous, reasonably priced, and reliable. The person answering the phones was never off putting or rude and I never felt like the drivers were trying to go weird routes to hike up the price. Thank you!

Cab drivers are very good and the guy who receives call is also good. But one lady who picks my call while booking always troubles and she is very rude to customer. When I tell her my location , she is always angry and says I didn’t understand!!! And just cut my call in anger. If you can’t behave properly with customer, leave ypur position girl. This is not how customer seevice provided. It’s the third time it is how she responded while I was on call for booking. Otherwise all other staffs so far I have met are so good.

The best taxi service in Yellowknife! My first choice always. Cleaner cars, friendly drivers, and fast 🙂 I also forgot my phone in the taxi and my husband was able to meet him to pick it up (the guy was just going on his break. He didn't need to but it was nice) thank you!

A very convenient service, fast and reliable.

You can call their numbers and some hotels even have dedicated phone booths at their entrance, such as in the Super 8 hotel.

Staff is usually polite and, during busy hours or crowded places, will ask for your name to identify you. Make sure that before you hang up though, you ask them how long it will take for the cab to reach you, as they don't always say it themselves and waiting outside is not what you wanna do.

Taxis are usually clean and you can strike a nice chat with the driver, usually. They all take debit and I often just pay with my phone. Some drivers have even helped me carry my luggage all the way to the terminal counter at the airport even though I didn't ask (I travel with so much luggage I often can't carry it myself).

One thing I don't like is that their payment systems usually start by asking for a tip percentage; tipping baffles me, as people are already getting paid for their work, and asking for a 15% minimum would get you a slap in the face somewhere else on the planet.
