I honestly hate giving anything but 5 stars to restaurants. Especially small family business. I ordered takeout and got their chicken pizza and margarita pizza. Both were very underwhelming. I ordered delivery and they both came ice cold. This is most likely the delivery services fault so I’m not basing the review off that, it was just another disappointment. With multiple great spots for Neapolitan pizza in London now. It had been a few years since I had zen’za so I wanted to try it. I like the social media account run by who I assume is the owner. I like the interior design. But again the pizza just didn’t do it for me. I really wish I could have given 5 stars.

Walked in and wasn't sure it is a sit down dining room as it looked like takeout counter until.you went all the way in and voila there was the dining room. Very tastefully decorated with very positive uplifting messages all over the place.

Owner/chef came right over to greet us and offer suggestions noting we had never been here before. Very friendly servers and the pizza was out of this world. All fresh ingredients and not from a can.

We were here for a hockey game and they offered to stay open until after the game so we could.take another pizza back to the hotel.

I dobt give a lot of 5star ratings but they deserve it.

My daughter and I recently dined at zen ‘Za Pizzeria in Downtown London, ON. I must say this is one of the best pizzas we’ve had anywhere around! Thin crust, fresh toppings, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is warm, inviting and second to none. Jocelyn was an amazing and gracious host…and made us feel special. And pricing is also very reasonable.

We will be back and we highly recommend to friends and family!

Such an amazing find! My family ordered the vegan Magnum P.I. and vegan GF Cheese burger Za and they were so tasty! The sauce is fangastic! My wife even said it was the best vegan GF pizza she's ever had. The staff were extremely nice and the amosphere in the dining area is very welcoming. We will definitely order from here again!

hands-down best pizza ever imho

been here a number of times over the years, and the pizza here is always so amazing. it's a fusion of thin-crust style mixed with their own unique flavour. hand-made dough topped with fresh, hearty ingredients and baked to absolute perfection.
the place is small but cozy, and the owners are super friendly. they are clearly in it for the love of culinary and their passion is contagious.
dining out here truly puts me in a zen-like state of mind.

The best food, service and atmosphere really. Gluten-free AND vegan options? My husband is very happy!

I couldn't decide which type of pizza to get because they all look delicious so they let me get half and half--- BBQ Chicken pizza and Renaissance. They were both soo delicious in their own way.

We also had their Caesar salad and homemade cookies (which were pure chocolately, marshmallowy, cinnamony goodness 🍪). Wow! I wish we lived closer, we would be there every weekend.

We think this place has value if you have dietary requirements and you’re chasing a decent pizza under those constraints. If not, we’d recommend elsewhere.

The owners are passionate small business owners and we appreciate that, but unfortunately we left feeling disappointed. Both the service and the food missed the mark tonight.

Been too long since we dined in at what IMHO is London’s most unique and diverse “za” joint. Have it your way (if wasn’t already taken as a slogan) epitomizes the extremely creative and accommodating food choices for pizza and non pizza menu items. A mildly eclectic interior space that is bright and comfortable combined with a very attentive level of service that is just the right mix of helpful without being intrusive. Solid price for the quality and quantity of food on offer and one of our “absolute favourite” thin crusts and it all adds up to a perfect dining spot in London’s downtown. I don’t usually recommend take out or to go but experience has taught that the Zen pies do travel well, but seriously you gotta eat here. From its early days as a Rico just before the name change, Wayne (de who?) and his partner Jocelyn have built a solid business that should now be considered a downtown staple.
